Angela Poff, PhD is a research scientist who has spent the last 13 years developing novel, non-toxic, metabolism-targeted treatments for cancer and neurological diseases. She is a passionate educator, and she co-founded Metabolic Health Initiative with the purpose of bringing up-to-date & evidence based information on metabolic health and therapies to the medical community and the public at large. She is dedicated to ensuring that the undeniable importance of metabolic health becomes a part of the conversation between every patient and their healthcare provider.

Dr. Dominic D’Agostino is an Associate Professor in the Department of Molecular Pharmacology and Physiology at the University of South Florida and Research Scientist at the Institute for Human and Machine Cognition (IHMC). His laboratory develops and tests metabolic-based strategies for neurological disorders, cancer, and for enhancing safety and resilience of military personnel in extreme environments.  His research is supported by the Office of Naval Research (ONR), Department of Defense (DoD), private organizations and foundations. Dr. D'Agostino is also a co-organizer of the international medical and scientific conference, Metabolic Health Summit.

Originally from across the pond but California-raised, Victoria’s professional life is just as eclectic as her roots. The first seven years of her career were split between reporting the news as an NBC affiliate anchor, competing as a professional athlete, & operating several fitness businesses. Victoria’s passion for health later led to her involvement in cancer research, and co-founding Metabolic Health Initiative, the overarching education organization of the scientific conference, Metabolic Health Summit. Victoria is committed to changing the field of medicine through elevating the science on metabolic health & therapy.
